Professional Grooming at Minnehaha Animal Hospital
Grooming is much more than getting a hair cut! Grooming plays a role in maintaining your pet's general health and wellbeing. Regular grooming will keep skin and coat clean and matt-free, making your pet more comfortable and decreasing shedding! Also, our groomers will examine your dog's skin for tumors and growths that can occur in older pets. Through regular grooming, we are able to catch these growths early so they can be evaluated by a veterinarian. The groomer can also help identify changes in skin, eyes and ears.

Our professional dog grooming services are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Our own nurses can bathe or perform a stylish lion cut to make your kitty feel great! For your pet's comfort, very anxious pets can be sedated. For the safety of your pet, rabies and distemper vaccinations must be current for all pets that stay in hospital.
For most pets, we recommend grooming at least every 3 months. At Minnehaha Animal Hospital, when you get your dog groomed every 3 months, you get half off your 7th grooming visit! So, regular grooming will end up saving you money!
