Meet Our Staff

Amber joined the Minnehaha staff in January, 2023. She earned her BA in Research Psychology and also completed a good portion of the veterinary technician program before the school closed so came to us with a fantastic background!
Amber lives in South Minneapolis and enjoys all the opportunities for engaging and supporting the wonderfully diverse community. She enjoys the local food, brewery and distillery scene and has even spent time working in some. She loves to travel when she gets the time. Time spent with her nieces and nephews is also a favorite past time.
Amber lives with her partner, 3 cats and a dog. She feels the best thing about her job is helping pets get the best care. As far as what she enjoys most about working as part of the Minnehaha team - she loves being able to interact with all the pets that come in but then "doesn't have to take home with her"!

Brighid became part of the Minnehaha team in March, 2023. Originally from Chicago, she moved to Minnesota in 2020 after attending Finlandia University (Michigan) and getting her EMT in Illinois.
Brighid currently lives in the St Paul area with her spouse, her Husky mix Uzi and her cat Mittens. She loves to play hockey, and even coaches a youth hockey team in the fall and winter. She enjoys visiting local breweries with her dog, taking a nice walk around one of the lakes or just relaxing with her pets.
One of Brighid's favorite aspects of her job is seeing all the adorable faces that come in the door. The best part of working at Minnehaha is the "fantastic team" she gets to work with.

Madeline joined us in May 2023. She is a warm, welcoming addition to our awesome Client Service team. She enjoys learning more about veterinary medicine and is very interested in surgery. She is also challenging herself to learn how to pronounce the various medications which can be difficult! Her favorite thing about her job is interacting with all the furry critters and working with such wonderful clients and team members.
Madeline is a mother of one child and outside of work enjoys creating art and spending time in nature. She currently shares her home with a French bulldog, Sonny, a Domestic Shorthair cat named Stephen and a ball python named Persephone.

Kirsten joined the Minnehaha Animal Hospital staff in 2018. Kirsten is originally from Wisconsin and came to the Twin Cities to attend the University of Minnesota. Previously she has worked in the Twin Cities as an Account Manager and an IT Project Manager with various companies in the area. In her free time she plays volleyball and softball and likes to spend as much time outside as possible during the warmer seasons.

Kirsten is married and has two dogs, Gerald and Dexter, and one cat, Tucker. Kirsten and her husband also foster dogs through a nationwide rescue called Papillion Haven.
